The All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference Medical Information Systems MIS-2008 is held only once every two years. Prof. Vladislav Zakharevich – the Head of the Southern Federal University, Chairman of Organizing Committee - opened the conference.

The Computer Stabilography section attracted particular interest. The section was held on the basis of RITM OKB ZAO. It is this section where about 40 Professors and Doctors of Science from all Russia appeared. 36 reports on current problems of studying and application of computer stabilometry have been made. An abundance of questions from the audience, debates, polemics and discussion of reports even during the coffee-break testify to increase in interest to Stabilan by RITM OKB ZAO and considerable expansion of its scope of application. Following the results of conference work, the Computer Stabilography section has deservedly received 3 medals (from 6 possible) and 2 diplomas.
