| Stabilography
is the method of quantitative, spatial and temporary analysis of
state steadiness. The essence of stabilographique researches methods
leads to the estimation of biomechanical indices of a person at
maintenance of vertical pose. The keeping of the equilibrium is
dynamic phenomenon of a man, demanding uninterrupted motion of body
which is the result of interaction of vestibular and optic analyzers,
joint- muscular proprioreption, central and peripherique nervous
system.
Merits of computer Stabilography:
-
Comfort of inspection, which is made
on the special stabiloplatform. The patient may be dressed,
in footwear, standing or sitting i.e. the conditions are comfortable
and don’t demand special preparation of patient or fastening
the pick-ups on him.
-
The inspection doesn’t take much time.
The time of inspection is made of time for information output
(20-60 seconds) and time for examination of received results
and analysis of the results received at the process of treatment
which at mass inspection take not more than 1-2 minutes.
-
Large volume of information which helps
to value as general state of a patient so state of many physiological
systems taking part in process of vertical pose maintenance.
-
High sensibility for influences on man.
It gives objective information about his reaction on physical
and psychological influences, on medicines and smells.
-
Monofuncionality which give an opportunity
to use stabilography: to diagnose a wide spectrum of diseases
and functional disorders, to control and objectify influences
on man, to rehabilitate the disorders of statokinetic man functions,
to train coordination.
