The International Medical Forum and Exhibition "Healthcare of Belarus-2025" (BELARUSMEDICA) will take place in Minsk from April 15 to 18, 2025. This is the most significant event in Belarus in the field of medicine and healthcare, held annually since 1994. It attracts leading representatives from the global medical and pharmaceutical industries, as well as developers of innovative medical technologies.
SCENAR therapy is a recognized technology used in various fields of medicine. One of the rapidly developing areas is dentistry, where the use of SCENAR devices has been limited and primarily focused on individual cases. A group of scientists decided to analyze modern literary sources from both domestic and foreign authors covering the use of SCENAR therapy as an adjunctive treatment method in various areas of dentistry. The group consisted of Dr. Roman Fadeev, MD, head of the Department of Orthopedic Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Gnathology at the North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov; Anastasiya Rad, a postgraduate student in the Department of Dentistry at the Yaroslav the Wise Novgorod State University; Dr. Natalia Prozorova, MD, head of the same department; and Dr. Boris Kulizhsky, a leading specialist in clinical observation at RITM OKB ZAO. They presented their research in the article "Possibilities and Prospects of Using SCENAR Therapy in Modern Dentistry," published in the scientific and practical journal "Institute of Dentistry" (No. 4, 2024).
Today we celebrate the anniversary of Michael Unakafov, a PhD in Engineering Science and the chief developer of SCENAR devices. Throughout the career at RITM OKB ZAO company, Michael Unakafov has made a significant contribution to the development of medical technologies by creating innovative solutions that are still being used in modern versions of SCENAR devices.
At the "Romanovsky" medical center, a seminar was held for graduate students of the Department of Orthopedic Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Gnathology at North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov. The seminar was organized under the guidance of the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Roman Fadeev MD.
Dr. Andreas Maar, MD, an outstanding medical doctor and esteemed SCENAR therapist, as well as RITM OKB ZAO representative in Germany, has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of healing and kindness that touched the lives of his patients, friends, and colleagues. His approach to medicine was not only professional but also humane. Known for his innovative approach to medicine, Dr. Maar specialized in both manual treatment methods and SCENAR therapy. This method became his hallmark, enabling many patients to restore their health and improve their quality of life.
