On April 05, 2024 Dr. Roman Fadeev MD, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Dentistry, Orthodontics and Ggathology in North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov visited Vitebsk State Order of People’s Friendship Medical University (VSMU) in the context of the cooperation between two institutions.

VSMU is one of the leading institutions of higher education in the Republic of Belarus, where more than 6 thousand students and listeners are studying. During his visit Professor Fadeev gave a lecture on the topic “Orthodontic, orthopedic and gnathological aspects of the rehabilitation of the patients with dentoalveolar anomalies and muscular-articular dysfunction of the masticatory-speech apparatus. Assessment of the quality of treatment outcomes.”

After that he conducted a master class at the university training clinic, where the issues of diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment of patients with dentoalveolar anomalies complicated by partial loss of teeth and dysfunction of the temporomandibular joint were discussed.

During the master class Dr. Roman Fadeev MD demonstrated possibilities of SCENAR therapy for relieving pain symptoms.
